Unfortunately dogs do not understand visits and this will lead to confusion and anxiety. You are welcome to reach out anytime for an update via phone, text or email!

The best age to train is 4-6 months old. However, we have made exceptions for younger puppies under certain circumstances such as the puppy vocalizing all night. It’s just important to understand there will still be lots of reinforcement needed on your part. Our day training program is a great alternative option!

Only if they are safe to handle by my staff. Otherwise we recommend doing private lessons because human aggression is typically best dealt with when the owner is present.

Dogs are social creatures and over the years I have changed my stance on many dogs and their social habits. Many dogs do want dog friends under the right circumstances. Our daycare is very different and teaches good behavior rather than free for all dangerous play.

We do not start dogs on e-collars and we do not use them until the dog has a full understanding of what is expected of them. Every dog should have a leash foundation first. We also do not do escape training which consists of holding down the button until your dog complies with the command. Our way is fair, safe and effective. We may be biased but your dog deserves freedom and you deserve piece of mind.

Our typical process is a $500 deposit to hold the spot. Followed by the remaining half payment due at drop off, the balance due when they go home. We now have afterpay through square or financing through affirm. We do have to add on a 6% fee for using these services.

We do offer a 5% discount for Military, First Responders and Teachers.

We will need you to complete one day of daycare at Zen Doggy Den. This will help your dog understand they are eventually going home and get them familiar with the environment prior to staying for an extended period.
